To check a doctor’s registration in Cyprus, start with the competent professional authority rather than a clinic website, social profile or review platform. For medical practitioners, the Cyprus Medical Council is responsible for recognising professional qualifications, licensing doctors to practise and maintaining the Cyprus Medical Register.

1. Identify the correct professional regulator
