Operator and acceptance
Doctors Cyprus is operated by CREATEAGENCY LTD (“Doctors Cyprus”, “we”, “us” or “our”), Company Registration Number HE 483989, VAT Number CY60267355M, at 13 Amazoniou, SOFOKLEOUS, 8025 Paphos, Cyprus.
By accessing the website, submitting a form, creating or claiming a listing, or purchasing a service, you agree to the version of these Terms applicable at that time. If you act for a clinic, company or professional, you confirm that you have authority to bind them. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service.
What Doctors Cyprus is
Doctors Cyprus is a directory, information and enquiry platform. We help users discover healthcare professionals, clinics and services and may provide listing, profile, visibility and promotional services to professionals and organisations.
We are not a healthcare provider, insurer, pharmacy, regulator, professional body or emergency service. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and we do not supervise clinical care. A listing, verification indicator, ranking or promotional placement is not a clinical endorsement or a guarantee of a provider’s identity, registration, competence, availability, fees, outcome or suitability.
The Medical Disclaimer forms part of these Terms.
Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 to submit forms or buy services, unless a parent or legal guardian acts on behalf of a child. You agree to provide accurate information and use the platform lawfully.
You must not:
- impersonate a person or organisation, falsely claim authority or submit misleading professional credentials;
- upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, discriminatory, deceptive or harmful material;
- send spam, scrape the site at scale without permission, interfere with security, introduce malware, reverse engineer protected functionality or overload the service;
- use directory data to harass people or for unlawful marketing; or
- submit another person’s confidential, medical or identifying information without an appropriate reason and authority.
We may use proportionate technical measures to prevent abuse and protect the platform.
Appointment enquiries and emergencies
An appointment form sends an enquiry to the provider selected on the profile. It is not a confirmed appointment. A booking exists only if and when the provider confirms it directly. Providers control their own schedules, response times, acceptance criteria, charges and clinical services.
Keep any health information to the minimum reasonably needed for the provider to respond. Do not use the website to send urgent or emergency information. If immediate help may be needed in Cyprus, call 112 or 199 or contact an appropriate emergency service directly.
Communications, care and disputes between a user and a provider are primarily between those parties. Nothing in these Terms limits any responsibility a provider has under healthcare, professional, consumer or other applicable law.
Professional listings and verification
A professional, clinic or authorised representative who submits, claims or manages a profile confirms that:
- all information is accurate, current, not misleading and can be substantiated;
- they hold and will maintain all registrations, licences, permissions, insurance and qualifications required for the services they advertise;
- they have authority to provide the content, personal data, photographs, logos, testimonials and documents submitted;
- their services, advertising and patient communications comply with applicable professional and advertising rules; and
- they will promptly tell us about material changes, restrictions, investigations, suspension, closure or loss of authority.
We may request evidence, contact a practice, check public registers, edit formatting, reject a submission, decline verification, or remove or correct information. Any verification process is limited to the checks we choose to perform at that time and does not transfer the provider’s responsibilities to us.
We may create a basic listing from credible public professional sources in pursuit of an accurate directory. A professional may request correction or review by contacting us. Claiming or purchasing a profile does not create ownership of the underlying website page, URL, design or platform data.
Paid plans, fees and renewal
Paid listing, membership, advertising or promotional services are governed by these Terms and the specific plan, order form, checkout page, proposal or invoice accepted by the customer. That specific offer controls the price, currency, billing period, included features and any minimum term. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude any tax that must be added by law.
If a service renews automatically, the renewal basis and billing frequency will be disclosed before purchase. The customer authorises the applicable recurring charge until cancellation takes effect. Failed or overdue payments may result in suspension or removal of paid features. We may change future pricing on reasonable notice; a price change will not retroactively alter an already-paid period.
Paid visibility does not guarantee enquiries, bookings, revenue, search-engine rankings or business outcomes. Features may evolve, provided the service remains materially consistent with the purchased description or an appropriate remedy is offered.
Cancellation, refunds and withdrawal rights
A customer may cancel renewal using the method stated at purchase or by emailing info@doctorscyprus.com. Unless the offer says otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and the service continues until the end of the paid billing period. Amounts for a billing period that has already started are not refundable merely because the service was unused, except where mandatory law or the accepted offer requires otherwise.
Most professional listings are purchased for business purposes. If you qualify as a consumer and a mandatory statutory withdrawal right applies, you may have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. If you expressly ask us to start the service during that period, you may owe a proportionate amount for service already supplied; where the law permits, the right may end after full performance only following the required express consent and acknowledgement. These Terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights.
We may provide a refund, credit, correction or re-performance where a paid service is materially not supplied as agreed. Contact us promptly with the order details so we can investigate.
Featured placement, advertising and ranking
Some profiles or content may receive paid, sponsored or featured placement. Commercial visibility is not a clinical recommendation. We aim to identify advertising or sponsored placement where the commercial nature would not otherwise be clear.
Organic ordering and search results may take account of the user’s query, speciality, location, profile completeness, relevance, quality or technical signals, while clearly identified paid placement may affect visibility. We may test and change presentation or ranking logic to improve usefulness, integrity and commercial sustainability.
Submitted content and licences
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, crop, translate, adapt for layout, publish, distribute and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate and market Doctors Cyprus and the relevant listing or campaign. The licence lasts while the content is used on the platform and for a reasonable wind-down, backup and evidential period afterwards.
You confirm that our permitted use will not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, publicity or other rights. You must obtain required permission from photographers, staff, patients, testimonial authors and other identifiable people before submission. Do not upload patient images or health information for a public profile unless lawful, necessary and supported by valid, documented permission.
We may moderate, resize, reformat, refuse or remove submitted content, but have no general obligation to monitor every item.
Intellectual property and third-party services
The Doctors Cyprus name, branding, site design, software, templates, database structure, editorial content and other platform material are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable law. You may use the website for normal personal or internal business purposes. No other licence is granted.
The site may link to or embed provider websites, maps, payment services, social platforms and other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party availability, content, security or conduct, but this does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability, disclaimers and liability
We aim to keep the platform useful, secure and accurate, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Content may become outdated, incomplete or inaccurate, and users should verify important information directly with the provider or appropriate official register before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data, or for clinical acts, omissions, advice, treatment, fees or disputes of independent healthcare providers. For a paid service, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from that service will not exceed the amount paid to us for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability or mandatory right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, correct or remove access, content, a listing or paid feature where reasonably necessary because of non-payment, a security risk, suspected fraud, inaccurate credentials, legal or regulatory risk, breach of these Terms, harm to users or the platform, or a request from a competent authority. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond or correct the issue.
Terms that by their nature should continue after termination—including ownership, content permissions already relied upon, accrued payment obligations, disclaimers, liability provisions and dispute terms—will survive.
Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Our Cookie Policy explains website technologies and choices.
You agree that we may send service communications electronically to the contact details supplied, including enquiry, verification, billing, security and material terms notices. Marketing communications are governed by your choices and applicable law.
Changes and general legal terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal or security changes. The revised version applies from the date shown above. If a change materially affects an active paid service, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, but a change will not retroactively remove accrued rights.
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply and the affected provision will be interpreted as closely as lawfully possible to its purpose. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer a paid agreement without our written consent; we may transfer it as part of a corporate reorganisation, financing or sale, provided your rights are not materially reduced.
Governing law and contact
These Terms and non-contractual disputes connected with them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring a claim elsewhere or any other rule that cannot lawfully be excluded.
